Anna vs Alexander - consumers choices

Read the descriptions of Anna and Alexander consumer behaviour and take part in the discussions.

STEP ONE

Read the descriptions of Anna's and Alexander's lifestyles and then discuss in your group the following questions:

How is your lifestyle? Are you “all about buying and consuming” like Anna? Or are you more careful in spending and consuming like Alexander? Elaborate on that.
Do Anna’s and Alexander’s financial statuses have the key impact on their way of living? What is your opinion?
Would it be likely for Anna and Alexander to become roommates? Would they argue a lot? Or would they be willing to make concessions to one another and make necessary changes to their lifestyle and consumer pattern?
Try to identify the values and norms represented by Anna and Alexander.
